Copyright (C) 2006 AUTHOR. All rights reserved.
The SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold. You (either an individual or a single entity) acquire some specific rights in respect of the SOFTWARE granted to you by the applicable non-exclusive License Agreement (LA) provided below. By installing, copying, running or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or any portion of it, you accept to be bound by all of the terms and conditions established by the LA.
AUTHOR reserveS all other rights not expressly granted to you by the LA. Any other use (i.e. unauthorized) of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or any portion of it is in violation of the LA and will imply its automatic and immediate termination.
Subject to the LA
There are two versions of the SOFTWARE: evaluation (UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE) and registered (REGISTERED SOFTWARE). The LA provides terms applicable solely to one of these versions, as well as common terms applicable to the same extent to both versions.
For the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE, a six-use-limited license is FREE. Please contact AUTHOR to find out how much the registration fee is and how to REGISTER your copy of the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE. Upon confirmation of your payment, you will be sent via email, FTP or by whatever other software distribution method your REGISTERED SOFTWARE license, your Personal Activation Code (PAC) and/or a copy of the REGISTERED SOFTWARE (contact AUTHORS).
Terms Applicable to Unregistered SOFTWARE
A single license grants you the following rights:
You may make as many copies of the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE as you wish and freely redistribute to third parties such copies by any means, provided that you redistribute the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE as a whole, in its original, unmodified form and you do not charge or request donations for this (maybe except for small amounts covering media and copy expenses should such expenses be applicable).
You may install and run the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE on ONE computer, provided that you install and run the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE for the limited number of uses and for EVALUATION purposes only.
Termination of the LA
The UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE license is use-limited. You may use the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE for the six-use EVALUATION period only.
The EVALUATION period is limited by the number of uses you need to decide whether to REGISTER your copy of the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE or stop using the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE. The EVALUATION period shall not exceed six uses from the time you first installed the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE on your computer (workstation).
Terms Applicable to Registered SOFTWARE
A single license grants you the following rights:
You may make any number of copies of the REGISTERED SOFTWARE and install the REGISTERED SOFTWARE on any number of computers (workstations), provided that you do not let third parties run, copy or otherwise use the REGISTERED SOFTWARE. (You may copy the REGISTERED SOFTWARE for BACKUP purposes only).
You may transfer all the rights granted by this LA to a third party either on a temporary or permanent basis, provided that you charge no fee. (You may not resell or lease the rights granted by this LA).
You may run the REGISTERED SOFTWARE on a single computer (workstation) at a time.
Description of other Limitations
You are specifically prohibited from redistributing copies of the REGISTERED SOFTWARE or any portion of it (except as provided by the LA) or any other information accompanying your REGISTERED SOFTWARE license, such as a software activation code, if any, to third parties for any purpose. Intentional violation of this term will imply immediate and automatic termination of your LA. In case such redistribution took place without your direct participation (e.g. the SOFTWARE was stolen), you should immediately notify AUTHORS about the incident.
You are specifically prohibited from running the REGISTERED SOFTWARE in a distributed computing environment, such as local area network, where users of various workstations connected to the network could access interactively the REGISTERED SOFTWARE, even when running on a dedicated server node (application sharing). If you need that various employees of your organization be able to use the REGISTERED SOFTWARE simultaneously, you should purchase as many licenses as needed. Note that quantity discounts may be available (contact AUTHORS).
You MAY NOT use the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE for COMMERCIAL purposes.
This application uses the Mersenne Twister random number generator, MT19937, written by Takuji Nishimura, Makoto Matsumoto, Shawn Cokus, Matthe Bellew and Isaku Wada.
The Mersenne Twister is an algorithm for generating random numbers. It was designed with consideration of the flaws in various other generators. The period, 219937-1, and the order of equidistribution, 623 dimensions, are far greater. The generator is also fast; it avoids multiplication and division, and it benefits from caches and pipelines. For more information see the inventors' web page at http://www.math.keio.ac.jp/~matumoto/emt.html
