Wi-Fi Toolbar manufacturer description

Install a Toolbar that is not only very useful and feature rich, but a toolbar which protects your privacy and that of sites you surf, one that goes hand-in-hand with your antivirus and anti Spyware software! Note, in this version, the free Anti-Spyware is not Included.
The Wi-Fi Toolbar 1.33 is a companion plug-in to Internet Explorer (or Mozilla / Firefox where available), it is built free from Spyware or AdWare that is usually installed without your knowledge or awareness. SpyWare and Ad-Ware is included in many toolbars distributed by scrupulous sites, it will either hijack your private information or other sites information, and in some cases even affiliate commissions and IDs. Our toolbar function as though it is part of your computer, and does not take long times to refresh. Its main advantages perhaps are its distinctive time saving features and speed that are not seen in any toolbar.

By design, the toolbar is built by an organization fully committed to non-profit and charitable causes. The toolbar has by default at all times an "Appeals" button from Internationally recognized Charities and relief Agencies such as OXFAM, Red Cross and Red Crescents, Médecins Sans Frontières, Amnesty International, UNICEF and more.

The toolbar can be installed or uninstalled in two seconds, while it is installed, no strain whatsoever is put on your computer's memory or hardware.

Privacy

In a nutshell, no information is collected about you, your computer or files . The toolbar does not have any SpyWare or software that can undermine your privacy, apart from the normal cookies of web sites you visit or information that you voluntarily express to share with us, such as your registration information, login name, password for site access, nothing else other than the toolbar features that you'd know about (the toolbar remembers for example the last search term you used so you can use it again without typing...). If we want to implement some sort of statistics, whereby we need to gather information for marketing purposes like many of reputable toolbar distributors, we'll spell it out in the Terms of use as well as before installation, for now, we have none of that.

In the case where you are a registered member, you must have read onsite the terms of use and the onsite privacy policy. One thing we make clear is we never disclose of your registration details to anyone, not even to our partners and any information is kept tightly secure

The subject of privacy is a hot one and many people are refusing to install toolbars that are constantly collecting all sorts of data from you and your computer, although most is used for marketing purposes, it does nonetheless make those toolbars slower, crash and corrupt some systems besides the lack of control over what is being collected. Some toolbars can not provide certain features unless they collect information upon which those features depend, google and Alexa are a good example, those toolbars however, do explain exactly what information they need to collect.

Toolbar privacy has become one of the most debated subjects as most of the large web sites and search engines started distributing their own. Perhaps the most feared amongst many is Industrial and Corporate Intelligence. We all know many employees in large public and corporate organization can download or visit any site they wish despite internal regulations. Imagine installing a software that monitors your every move when you are an employee in a Dealing Room, sensitive R&D department, a direct competitor to the site... Some online organizations are fundamentally dependant upon their SEO techniques and their income depends entirely upon their success in ranking well in Information Directories and Search Engines, many of the successful ones are now reluctant to let their employees install toolbars and other software that have to collect information. Their reasoning may or may not be well founded, but the hypothesis of search engines and directories monitor their habits and techniques for penalties and "Make or Break" those sites should not be discarded lightly.

Your are encouraged to read the terms and privacy of sites you visit while using the toobar.
