Designed for providers in need of both one off & recurring billing, WHMCS 4.2.1 gives you the freedom to manage your business from anywhere and co-ordinate multiple staff to completely automate and provide real time processing through an intuitive and easy to use interface.
Supporting billing in multiple currencies concurrently, WHMCS 4.2.1 allows you to generate estimates, one-off invoices and setup recurring billing charges for any cycle you require. It will also track all the payments made to you through supported gateways and send reminders, overdue notices and suspension warnings for unpaid bills.
Each client profile contains a summary showing the key information from their account, including stats like the amount they are due or in credit, all products/services they have ordered, their group setting, any notes staff have created, any emails that have been sent and more… This enables staff to get a complete view of each customer and manage them more efficiently.
Flexible options allow you to offer free, one time or recurring prices, prorata billing, custom fields, options for certain features or addons on an ala carte basis, automated upgrade paths to cross sell related products, free domain promotions with selected billing terms and more. You can also offer promo codes to your customers that apply to specific cart items only.
WHMCS 4.2.1 provides the ability to submit register, transfer & renew requests to an integrated registrar – automatically when you get paid or waiting for manual authorisation – without even leaving WHMCS. But that’s not all, WHMCS 4.2.1 will also allow you and your clients to view/change nameservers and view/change whois info as well as the ability to turn locking on & off and retrieve a domains` EPP code.
Including ticket support, a knowledgebase, downloads repository, announcements & network issues notification pages, WHMCS 4.2.1 can provide for all your clients needs. The ticket system will import emails from designated email addresses to allow any staff member to quickly and efficiently deal with the emails received.
While packed with features, we take great care when implementing them to do so in such a way that avoids bloat or over complication. So by providing separate interfaces for both customers and staff, this allows the menus and options offered to be tailored to the user providing an intuitive and user friendly environment with easy access to all available management features.
The statistical reports and graphs are designed to give you a complete picture of your business. These include monthly revenue, income forecasts, support reviews, server revenue, etc… Supplied with over 15 open source reports by default, this means you can customise the defaults and add your own for further analysis.
With language files, modules, action hooks and templates making use of CSS for styling, WHMCS 4.2.1 is easily customisable and extensible. You can create your own server, domain, gateway & admin modules to integrate and automate with remote service providers and use hooks to perform actions in other software’s when certain events occur within WHMCS. 2 templates are supplied by default – a basic styling easy to integrate version and a portal version designed to be used as is.

Coupon codes used for products now shown on recurring invoices so the customer is reminded they are on a special rate/deal Billable Item Enhancements - The ability to select predefined products and automatically load their descriptions & prices has been added and support for individual & mass time based billing entries with bulk invoice/delete options to streamline management Product Management - Bug Fixes - Change security question - was asking user to select existing question which was very hard to remember. Now just asks existing question
- Password resets - closed client statuses were being allowed to request a password reset but still couldn't login
- Bulk domain checker - was allowing spaces in the domains being looked up
- Attachment delete failing - the delete link for ticket attachments in the admin area was not working
- Multiple CC emails - were failing to send if more than one was set
- Pending Commission Deletion - was not deleting anything when clicked
- Auto activate on order - if more than one product was being ordered, only the first was getting activated
- Cart Addons page - was showing blank if not logged in as a customer when it should instead ask for login
- Custom fields signup - entered at signup time were not being saved in time for hooks to run
- Payment methods on invoices - were being shown alphabetically rather than in the defined priority order
- Cancellation Requests - were being allowed to be submitted for pending items
- Auto unsuspend on payment - was unsuspending on payment even if due date remained in the past with other invoices due, and then suspending again the next day
- Affiliate Conversion Rate - was showing a decimal percentage rather than actual percentage
- Graph Reports - with no data causing warning message to display
- Custom Field Validation - not using display name if specified for a custom field
- Product Status in Emails - not being translated into clients local language
